Upon the initiative of our colleague, Ing. Dárius Siheľský, we have supported other young talents – regional selections in the age category of older pupils – consisting of the most talented individuals from all regions of Slovakia.

From 6 to 9 June, the Slovak Floorball Association in Michalovce organized a final tournament of regional selections for older pupils – FINAL FOUR. Before the tournament itself, the individual nominees had the opportunity to demonstrate the level of their sporting performance at training units dedicated to coordination, speed, strength, endurance, and floorball itself.

The tournament of four selections was played by the system each with each of which the overall winner came. Together 80 players from all over Slovakia were invited to the event. At the end of the tournament, all teams were given commemorative T-shirts, which were provided to us by Floorbal Fans and ROEZ, s.r.o.

The overall leadership was enjoyed by players from the East Slovak region who did not find a conqueror in three struggles. The team of the West Slovak region was placed second. The third place belongs to the Central Slovakia and the last fourth to the Bratislava region.
